The rear floor is now solid again, a large piece was made to fit the hole round the filler neck. This was an awkward bit to make as the floor is actually higher than it looks from the outside and slopes down at the edges to meet the side panels - this seems like a potential moisture trap and probably contibuted to it rotting out.

The other side was almost as bad

Time to clamp up the rear valence, after a trial fit of the petrol tank this was spot welded into place, painted and seam sealed on the inside then the inner valence section and closer plates were welded on.
